A popular job portal from the USA wanted to automate job listings by crawling various job boards and their own site.
Challenge:
The client needed job listings scraped from 20 different websites, such as Monster, Indeed, and CareerBuilder. They sought to collect a variety of data points, including job titles, wages, locations, job descriptions, company profiles, and candidate resumes. The goal was to have a comprehensive and up-to-date database of job opportunities to enhance their platform and improve user experience.
Solution
The client provided a list of websites and specific data they needed. They required this data to be scraped daily for the most current information. We set up web crawlers to collect the data from the websites on their list. The client wanted the data in CSV format and to be uploaded to their Dropbox.
After completing the setup, our crawlers began sending the data directly to the client’s Dropbox. Initially, we delivered nearly 2 million data points. Each day, we provided around 200,000 clean and organized records. This process ensures the client always has the most up-to-date and accurate data available.
